I Went for It

I was talking about looking into EMT training for the longest time. Well, I am happy to announce that I finally went for it! This is definitely something that I am very proud of, and my parents are being really supportive. They are doctors themselves, and they had words of encouragement for me. They tell me that there is nothing better than a great EMT who can deliver a patient safely to them. They tell me that I can totally make a difference in people’s lives, and that I should do the best that I can. In some ways, I have a more important job than they do. I have to stabilize the people who are really in critical conditions, and I have to deliver them alive. Sometimes, that doesn’t always happen, but I think that all that matters is the fact that I make it happen. I know that this is the right job for me.

The New Database is Coming Along Really Well

To be honest I got into designing databases for businesses more by accident then anything else. My first job as an IT worker was for a poultry company and they needed a new database and I was the one that put it together. Ever since then I’ve been setting up databases for other companies. I am a nuclear engineer. After looking for nuclear engineering jobs, I finally landed one not too long ago, and I am enjoying it. Even though I have been to school for all of this, I still feel like there is so much for me to learn everyday. It makes sense for me to be able to keep this job. I feel like I am always under the watchful eyes of my family and friends, and I definitely cannot disappoint them at all. I think it is much easier on me if I can work and do my best and not have to worry what anyone else thinks about how I conduct my life. I am proud to be nuclear engineer because not many people can say that. It makes me feel smart and accomplished, and I am very proud of myself for having gotten this far in life! I know that my wife loves me no matter what though.

Henry, the guy who often likes to come by and tinker with our old car, is finally leaving us. I am going to really miss the guy because he was such a fun guy to hang around with. He has decided on migrating to Canada and he will be leaving us very soon. I think he is just looking for a new adventure in life and a chance to start from scratch. I think once in a while, somebody feels like this and they will just get up and get out. I am sure that Henry will be able to find a great new life there in the country where he is immigrating to.
