I know that my wife is working hard on our wedding, so I wanted to make sure that we have a good photographer. I am researching a ton of Sydney wedding photographers to find a good one for the wedding. Photographs are important to me, and I think that they tell a lot of stories. I guess that it just makes sense when I invest my time researching the best photographer. I am quite intrigued by the whole process of getting married, and I guess I want to capture the hard work that my wife has put into all of this. Photographing burlesque dancers poses its own set of challenges. Burlesque clubs are often dimly lit and the management and dancers frown on the use of flash photography, or photography of any kind for that matter.

To take pictures in this type of environment requires an easily concealed camera with a large aperture lens and good image stabilization – you won’t be able to use fast shutter speeds because of the low light levels. The ability to set high ISO speeds is always a bonus in these situations.

People often wonder what type of camera is good to buy when you are going on vacation or traveling. There is no easy answer, but there are a couple of different ways to go. If you are not a pro or advanced amateur, I would leave the DSLR at home and get yourself a bridge or compact camera. You don’t want’ to lug a big camera around with you. There are plenty of cheap digital cameras you can buy to bring along instead.

You can get a nice point and shoot camera that will cover most of your needs while traveling. Most have a decent lens and 4 -6x optical zoom range which is great for portraits, landscapes, and most general pictures you will want to take. I would make sure and get one with a rechargable batteries so you aren’t having to buy or replace the regular kind. I’d also want one with HD video. You might think you don’t need it, but you’ll be surprised how much you might actually use it once you have it available.

So your best bet for a good travel camera is a nice compact point and shoot. You could also look at a bridge camera, but those start getting bigger and more costly.
