When we take the chance and do something for ourselves that we’ve always wanted to do it can be amazing. For me it was learning the guitar. It’s something I had always wanted to do, but I had never really taken the chance to do so. That is until I bought a guitar instruction dvd set that I could use on my own at home to teach me the basics. I didn’t want to take private lessons primarily because I didn’t have the time to commit, but taking lessons at home with DVD videos seemed like something I could do on a whim when I had the free time. That is exactly what I’ve been doing now for about six months. I’ve taken what started as two times a week to sit down with my guitar and changed that to about an hour each day. I’m loving it and I’m doing something for myself that I’ve always wanted to do, and isn’t that what life is really all about?
