The Road to Stardom

People who have the bits of creativity inside their breath will definitely be taken by the glamour and glitz of the movie world! That is a very common feeling and natural desire that can arise in the hearts of most youngsters, who have ambitions inside them. Through this article, I am providing some useful tips for you to make your grip in the movie industry, by being different from the crowd.

The making of your attitude is first. You must be able to handle rejections. You must keep your positive energy and keep moving. Before presenting yourself to any director or Industry professionals, you must brush up your marketing skills and be ready with your own marketing materials like, your visiting card and photographs, obviously those should stand ahead, in picture clarity, personality and should be different from that of others.

It is most important to ensure quality of your photograph. Before you take them, analyse those of established actors. You can go visit my own personal photographer named Christopher Wallace. He does all the photography for actors that attend my good friend Jun Matsuo’s casting calls.

Once you are ready with your professional attitude and marketing materials, it is time to approach a talent agent. You should do reasonable research before choosing a talent agent. His performance history and relations in the Industry are very important in finding out if he is a reliable agent. If you approach the decision makers directly, without a talent agent, be prepared for a self introduction with confidence, without losing your desire in the long run. Do not lose your desire and will even if you lose here! This is the most important thing. Strengthen your will and move ahead with confidence.

Snow White It is for Abby!

My four-year-old niece Abigail loves Snow White. I bought her the video for Christmas this year, and she fell in love. Her favourite part is when Snow White helps the Seven Dwarfs. Abigail’s favourite Dwarf is Grumpy. She always laughs when he appears on-screen. She also loves Dopey and is mesmerized by the evil Queen.

I wasn’t surprised when my sister said Abby wants to be Snow White for Halloween. I went looking for the perfect costume for her. I asked my sister if I could buy Abby the costume, as money is tight for my sister, because she is a single mother, and besides, I love spoiling my niece. I went to this fabulous costume store just outside of town, and they had so many costumes in so many sizes, it was easy to find the dress in her size. I can’t wait for Halloween. Snow White it is for Abby!
